for each week constantly vary to ensure the children receive a well-balanced diet. The children are offered
the food, encouraged to eat, but will not be forced to eat.
In conjunction with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), our goal is to offer enough, fresh,

More about us

About Us
At PoohBear Daycare, we believe that every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved, and inspired to grow. Our daycare is more than just a childcare facility—it is a home away from home, where warmth, care, and learning go hand in hand. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that supports the emotional, social, and intellectual development of every child. With a team of compassionate and experienced caregivers, we ensure that each child receives the individualized attention they need to thrive. At Pooh Bear, we cherish every moment of childhood and create a foundation for a lifetime of learning and happiness.

We observe a child’s ability to solve problems, think critically, and engage in age-appropriate tasks. Through play-based activities, puzzles, and open-ended questions, we assess their cognitive development.

  1. We observe and encourage children’s language skills, including

Vocabulary, listening comprehension, and expressive language. Through conversation,

Story telling, and exposure to rich language experiences, we assess their linguistic development.

We assess a child’s social skills by observing their interactions with peers and adults. We look for abilities such as sharing, taking turns, and empathy. Group activities, Games, and cooperative play provide opportunities for social development assessment.

We observe a child’s emotional expression, self-regulation, and ability to manage emotions. By creating a supportive and nurturing environment, we assess their emotional development and offer guidance when needed.

We assess a child’s gross and fine motor skills through activities that involve movement, coordination, and manipulation of objects. We provide opportunities for physical development assessment during outdoor play, sensory exploration, and arts and crafts

By considering these aspects, we ensure that our educational programs are designed to meet each child’s unique needs, strengths, and interests.
